We recognise God’s desire for all people to be healthy in spirit, body, and mind. Showing more compassion and understanding for mental health is a priority.
Over the coming weeks and months St Stephens Belrose will be holding a series of special information evenings on a variety of topics around the subject of mental health.
These sessions are free and open to all. The first two of these evenings, which looked at Depression and Anxiety, have already been held and were both very well attended.

INTERNET PORNOGRAPHY: A MODERN EPIDEMIC
An informative evening for all men and women, young and old, about the issue of internet pornography usage. This matter is reaching epidemic proportions in all parts of society, including amongst Christians. Learn about the prevalence and dangers of this activity and about help for those who find themselves caught in its grip. Someone you know may need your help in this matter. Whilst there will be no exposure to explicit material, due to the topic matter of the night under 18's need to be accompanied by a parent, or bring a signed permission note.
Presented by Nicky Lock, Senior Counsellor and Clinical Consultant, and a lecturer and author of counselling courses.
