It's worship
All human beings are worshippers, the only question is where our worship is directed. God invites us to worship him with everything that we are, including our money. Financially supporting St Stephens is one way to do that. It's a way to join in God's mission here in Belrose All of our ministries and the things we need to make them happen - buildings, staff, utilities - rely on your generous support. We receive no other funding and without you there can be no St Stephens Belrose. Giving to St Stephens enables us to more to love and serve more people and advance God's mission in the Forest. It's a way to fuel your passion for God Paul's wisdom to the Corinthian church is, if you want to experience a deep relationship with God, invest in his mission (2 Cor 9:6-7). Common sense says that when you invest in something, you tend to pay more attention to it. It's a way to thank God God is a generous God. Everything we have comes from him. But more than that, he willingly gave up his son so that we can have new life forever. Imitating his generosity (2 Cor 9:9) is a way to say thanks. It's a path to joy and freedom Generosity is the antidote to greed (Eph 5:3-10) and being generous towards God's mission means more people hear the good news of Jesus, see God's love in action and experience new life in him. That's worth celebrating.
